Helps to cut down on any smell, provides a substrate for the worms to live in, and it’s also a good food source for them. Plus it’s super cheap🤷🏿‍♂️

Hey all, I was just cleaning out the bin of oats I keep super worms in and discovered a ton of mites living amongst them. I was wondering if this is something to be concerned about? And if so, what should I do? Thanks!

Thanks! Yeah I know my stuff super duper well, so my Cham is getting proper care. Yeah I know, it’s just a very large enclosure so the 10.0 helps to make sure he gets proper UVB. Thanks though!

Yeah me neither lol, I’m not sure what these guys see. I have a T5 10.0 UVB.

As some added info my Cham is very active and shows excellent climbing ability and strength. So I’m pretty much 100% positive he has no MBD. Especially since he’s been getting consistent vitamin/calcium intake and 12 hours of strong UVB his entire life. It’s just not a possibility.

The vet online recommended trying a bit of neosporin before going to a vet. Do you know if neosporin is safe for Chams?

Covid has made a trip to the vet very difficult, but I am consulting with an online reptile vet now. Hopefully they will have some answers or can give me a treatment.
