My veiled is having similar problems I flushed his eye with saline only solution and have noticed improvement. however a vet is out of the question seeing as there are very few vets in Wisconsin that know about reptiles and the one vet we did bring him to was a new lady vet and she was skittish...
Im also looking into doing this myself from what ive heard the sensitive eye saline has no additives my poor guys eye has something in it too. Would once a day until its better work or should i try something else if it doesn't work the first time? No reptile vets anywhere near my area.
reptar is actually doing better today. that bulge I was worried about was because I had just gave him a warm shower and he was moistening his eyes. at least thats what my friend who raises chams said. He said all of his chams do it. he is using his eye more than yesterday but it still seems...
I will for sure if it doesn't stop in a couple days. I've already picked up some calcium without the d3 in between these two threads and hopefully that will be of help. Do you have any idea what might be wrong? he still ate today but noticeably less. and if I cannot find a vet within three hours...

damn now he is rubbing on branches and is looking slightly swollen... Id really appreciate any feedback I know I should take him to the vet but the nearest one is hours away and I wont be able to do it for at least a week if I can. I know I haven't had him long and this is my first cham but I...
this is his eye now when it bulges and its quite scary to watch. other than that his left eye looks exactly the same as the right when open! idk what is wrong.
i noticed my 1 and a half to two month old male veiled reptar this morning was holding his left eye closed he seemed to have no problem opening it and moving it and it looked fine when he did. I posted a thread in the health clinic another eye problem for help. I was advised to possibly check...
If the shower chamber treatment doesn't work. I looked at my bank account and Im not going to have the money to take him to the vet for a while possibly over a couple of weeks... even if I don't Im taking him anyway but I wanted to exhaust all my other options first. is there another way to...
hey rango just figured out today that if you find the little paperclip on the post page you can upload pictures its right next to the smiley face. but my guy is holding one eye shut he doesn't seem to have a problem opening it but for some reason is keeping it closed most of the time. i have no...
