Help With Eye Saline Solution PLeasee!!

Hi Everyone,

I would like to get some info about what eye saline solution is used when rinsing out chams eye. My Jax Jax Cham is about 9 mths old and came with a sunken eye (3 weeks ago) which he keeps closed for most of the times..he is hydrated and not stressed and all the temps are correct..I have tried contacting a vet who works on chams but cannot get through as I think she is away at the moment but I heard that it would not hurt to try the solution before ..

We use Eyesaline, its meant as an eye ball wash, not the normal stuff thats for contact cleaning.

I use a plain saline soulution, nothing added. I will put some into a tiny syring ( no needle tip )and get right up to the eye and use just enough perssure to get some to penitrate into the eyelid. I also have seen positive results with polysporin eye drops.

Im also looking into doing this myself from what ive heard the sensitive eye saline has no additives my poor guys eye has something in it too. Would once a day until its better work or should i try something else if it doesn't work the first time? No reptile vets anywhere near my area.

I have just bought the saline and will try it tomorrow..hope it wil help! Thanks..also is there a specific routine to stick to? A certain amount of times it could be applied?
