    Sourcing Plants

Are you strictly looking for online sources? Because you can find a large amount of these plants at home improvement stores, especially indoor species like pothos. I bought all of my plants for my late cham at Home Depot and I still have them to this day, they are gigantic now lol

Good parts for homeade enclosure? Screen/frame

You can always design your own with chameleon-safe wood for the frame, and you can buy rolls of screen with different widths of the actual screen. You'd just need all the components to put it together in the way that you want, like screws/nails, hinges, latches, etc. You can find this stuff...

Are they already in your enclosure? What kinds? Pictures would be good as well

    Another reason to avoid mealworms

Was not expecting that fun image to pop up when I clicked this thread . . . interesting and terrifying.

    HELP!! Something wrong w chameleon

When my girl acted like this it was from severe dehydration. I am not saying that that is the issue with your chameleon, but if she is too weak to climb or move i would try taking a small syringe/dropper and getting some water into her system. In very small amount, might I add, because she might...

    How Has Everyone Been Affected?

It's quite a confusing time that we are living in right now, that's for sure. Our chams will be regaling their grandchildren with the stories of the global pandemic, and the odd behavior of humans that believe hoarding toilet paper will save them, haha. I can't wait to go back out in the world!!

    How Has Everyone Been Affected?

Sounds like there is quite the variety of situations out there. As for me, I'm out of school, no job, and in full lockdown pretty much. It is beginning to get to me, and it seems like all the days are just blurring together or something, it's a very odd and confusing sensation. I miss my mma gym...

    How Has Everyone Been Affected?

Just like my title says, I am curious and wondering how all of you and your chams are being affected by the current situation with this pandemic. I am not active much on the forums so I haven't got a chance to read much of what has been going on with all the cham owners. Is everyone okay? Are...

    LLLReptile

I know that 5.0 UVBs generally work just fine for the juveniles, but you may want to consider getting a 10.0 for an adult chameleon .

    Feeding

With the dubias in the tupperware they would usually be fine unless they were pretty large, except my girl would perch on the cup, knock it over, and then chase them around and with that happening a couple found the crevices of the cage where she couldn't get to them. But other than that the...

    Feeding

Also, when I got my cham used to her cup feeding, I started out doing it by hand and holding the cup out for her. I also shook the cup just a bit to catch her eye and get interested in the dubias. It worked really well for me and only took a week or two until the connection was made, cup = food...

Best method to hang a pothos - screen cage

Personally, I hang a small pot with a pothos from the top of the cage, and then as the vines grow longer I use zip ties to secure them up and around the sides of the cage, and drape them across the fake vines and branches as well. It all depends on how you want your setup to look and work...

    First chameleon

Also, make sure to get your chameleon from a breeder or other reputable source. I bought my chameleon from a chain store like petco and she was a runt and had health problems. Breeders are usually more expensive, but the quality is almost always far greater.

How to get Chameleon to Cup Feed

Cup feeding is really helpful, but it comes in time. My cham used to see me grab her cup to fill it, and if I didn't go fast enough, she would sit right where the cup sat waiting for her food. The more you use the cup, the better and more comfortable your cham will get. I also did cup/hand...
