    Plants? Plants? Plants?

This list is really helpful: http://flchams.com/chameleon-safe-plant-list/. I repotted a hibiscus plant in organic soil. I also have a schefflera (about 3 ft). I also have an ivy (make sure it is irish ivy not english). I bought my schefflera from Amazon, actually. The only downside is that...

    Question about a plant?

Yes, I believe so. You can check out this page: http://flchams.com/chameleon-safe-plant-list/. Since it is a philodendron, it definitely should be safe.

    D3 everyday?

Calcium with d3 can be harmful. So far, I've only been giving mine without and she seems perfectly healthy with that. I also give her a multivitamin (without d3).

How much should I be feeding

As she goes into adulthood, though, I've heard only to feed four or so every other day.

How much should I be feeding

My female veiled is about the age of yours, maybe a little bit younger. I feed her about 4 super worms a day, and she seems happy with that. Sometimes she likes a little bit more than that, but she seems to get along with four in general.

I hope I am just overreacting.

As far as temp is concerned, I agree Kristin. Each chameleon is different. My chameleon seems happy with ~85. I would just go by the general rule of not going below 80 and above 95.

    First Chameleon (Veiled)

I have a little dripper as well. In order to keep it from soaking the floor bottom, I position above one of my live plants (one that likes a little bit of water throughout the day). I also put an aluminum pie pan underneath the potted plant so excess water can easily drain without getting the...

    Signs in laying-ready females?

Yeah, she is totally chill with people. She curls up her tail when I hold, so I'm assuming she's very relaxed. She's never shown any signs of stress.

    Signs in laying-ready females?

Thank you so much for the feedback! I'll look out for those signs. I have put in her laying bin, so she will be ready to go :)

    Abstract veiled chameleon

Hmmm...good question. I'm not sure if he's supposed to be shedding :)

    Signs in laying-ready females?

Here is a picture where you can kind of see her size: I measured her (with tail) and she is about 9" long.

    Signs in laying-ready females?

I am curious because today she has been climbing to the bottom of her cage (pictures as shown). I know she has plenty of water and food.

    New Chameleon color change

It looks like a cyst of sorts. It could be an infection, however if it is an infection it's very unlikely to have been there for so many months without any other illness signs. Has it gotten bigger since you got him? That would be a sure sign of worry. If not, then it is probably a cyst (which...
