I think it might be time for Groot to rest in peace.

I'd be interested to know your thoughts for sure. He's still hanging on. Although, he vomited up some horrible smelling greenish liquid today, I'm guessing it's bile. I talked to a couple of vet's offices, they all said the same thing, which was just keep him comfortable and leave him be.

I think it might be time for Groot to rest in peace.

I'm sure there's a million of these posts, I'm sorry. My Panther Cham Groot is 5 years old now, and he's feeling his age. My plan was to just let him die peacefully on his tree, and not have his final moments be stressful in a vet's office with a needle, but I don't know if I'm doing the right...

A sad sight to behold at the local reptile show today

He's going to be a stunner once he gets a little older and healthier!

    Chameleon Egg bound/aspiriation

This indeed hurts to hear. This is not my post, but I lost my female about two weeks ago to this same thing. I knew enough to leave her alone, but since *I knew* she was too early to lay, I didn't give her enough privacy. If I ever decide to do the breeding thing again, the female will just...

    Male or female? Panther chameleon

The first and 5th pic make me think male.

I'm ready to post my story of the loss of my Cham.

A few may remember my post almost 2 weeks ago, asking for help for my little Panther Cham girl. She fell Ill on a Sunday morning and passed away the next morning. I've learned some things so I thought I'd share. 1. When you read that females lay their eggs close to 30 days after breeding...

    Should I buy this?

And I didn't know you could use flex seal for that! I'll keep that in mind for the next build!

    Where to Find Cages

Cages are EASY to build. 2x2's, screen/hardware cloth (plastic or metal) (Plasti-dip spray if metal), jigsaw for cutting wood, drill for screws, staple gun... Easy!

Outside temps. How hot is too hot

Samesies. Hose nozzles set at mist setting can get you through the super hot in the shade days. And it's just awesome. I've got my boy set up so he gets morning sun and then afternoon shade. I'm available to check on him multiple times a day, which is comforting. Knowing the heat stress...

    Should I buy this?

I built a cage very similar to this. I Plasti-dip sprayed the hardware cloth. After a year, it's still holding up. I like the cage, just go over every inch and make sure nothing is loose, sticking out, or rotted. Make sure the door can be secured. If you have him outside, you must make...

    I'm losing her, no recommendations?

She didn't make it. Thank you all for your help, I thought you'd want an update. Today was just too late. I'm going to go take a break from here for a few days, then I'll be back with a story. Thanks again.

    I'm losing her, no recommendations?

On the contrary good sir. I haven't left her side since this started. I will fight to the end, but that doesn't mean I'm not realistic about her situation.
