    Roger!!

:D thanks everyone!! Here's a video of him too http://www.aandersonphoto.com/Other/Roger-2/21317503_jFBZ4w#!i=2187443619&k=khRTkjr The light I use for him is a dual bulb dome thing. And yeah its probably a little close but I've never had a problem with him climbing on it or getting burned

    Roger!!

Hey everyone, I just took some new pictures of roger. He's about 10 months old, does he look like he's the correct size for his age? And does he look healthy??

Has anyone ever used this before??????

I have one of those. Most people on here don't like them but if you cup feed your cham and make sure he doesn't poop in the waterfall, then it should be fine

    Baby Veiled gray and spotted?

Make sure your uvb lamp is close enough to the branches in your cham's cage. When I first got mine I had the lamp too far away and he shriveled up and almost died. He started being green and way more active once his light was close enough.

    Handling

When I first got my cham I waited a couple weeks to hold him. After he adjusted I started to hold him everyday. He's 8ish months old now and I hold him everyday. I free range him and he's super adventurous and confident. When I'm too busy to hold him every day he sometimes will hiss at me the...

    Ate some dirt/woodchips???!

He seems fine now, he's been eating and being active like usual. I've been at work a lot the past couple days so I haven't seen him poop but I think he's alright now :D

    Ate some dirt/woodchips???!

tl;dr - My cham ate a little woodchip, will he die!?!?!?!?!?! My cham is a ~7 month old veiled and I think he might have eaten some woodchips. I had him out in the sunshine and i was letting him adventure through the garden while I misted him with the hose. He was behind some plants and I saw...

    Veiled Chameleon not eatingg

My cham is doing the same thing right now too. He hasn't eaten more than a few crickets in over a week but he looks completely fine and walks all over still. Hopefully they're just being picky and will get over it soon lol

    Male Veiled or Female Veiled?

I would go with a male if you don't want to worry about eggs and stuff. I got my cham when he was 1 month old. For the first month or so I would only hold him a few times a week but as he got older I hold him everyday. He's super friendly now and I often let him climb on people. I think it just...

    Cham loves the window?

Does anyone elses chameleon love the window? I used to have his cage on the other side of the room from the window and I noticed that all he would do was crawl up and down the side of the screen nearest the window. His cage is now a foot from the window and anytime he's in the cage all he does...

    Age to free range??

Alright thanks! I need to get more lights for the free range, that's part of the reason I put him back in his cage occasionally. I'm definitely going to get more lights for him because he seems to love roaming around so much haha :D

    Age to free range??

Hey everyone, I'm just wondering how old my cham should be before I free range him. My cham is 5 months old and i noticed that he would always crawl on the side of his cage closest to the window and some other plants like he was trying to get out. I now have some branches leading out of his cage...
