    What’s up with my skin?

Came onto this thread because my Petrie has been experiencing this same type of problem but his humidity and supplements have all been in check. The only thing that has changed is that he has been refusing to eat crickets. He used to chow them down like crazy but now he’s only interested in...

    Mosquitoes In My Enclosure

Has anyone else ever experienced this? In the past couple days I have killed 5 full grown mosquitoes in my room (which is where Petrie's cage is). I have figured out that mosquitoes can still grow even from the smallest amount of resting water. I am at a loss for how to eliminate this problem...

    Super active Veiled Chameleon

He LOVES climbing on me. He will climb for 3 days in a row and then take 3-4 days off just resting and basking and then go right back to climbing

    Super active Veiled Chameleon

I got him from petsmart and the lady didn't know anything. She told me that he was too young to tell the sex... Which is just crazy/ Anyways, Other members on this forum said he's between 3 months and 5 months. I don't know his hatch date.

    Super active Veiled Chameleon

Your Chameleon - Male Veiled Chameleon. He’s about 3-5 months old. I have had him for about 8 days now. Handling - I rarely handle him. I read that is best to leave him alone for the first couple weeks of him adjusting to his new environment. I occasionally hand feed him to build trust. Feeding...

Is my chameleon adjusting to his new environment normally?

Great point! Okay I will try and find better foliage for up top, I just wanted to make sure I got more than I had in there so I just grabbed as much as I could. He is really loving those top vines though so I definitely think I need to add more!

Omg this is beautiful! I need way more horizontal sticks! Are you just using those little wooden pegs from hobby lobby or michael's?

Is my chameleon adjusting to his new environment normally?

Okay here is his enclosure! Is this enough foliage? Is it too much foliage? LOL. He loves his Pothos, it's the best for drinking water. Any suggestions for improvement?

Is my chameleon adjusting to his new environment normally?

I immediately went and bought more plants! I am going to get the lightbulb upgrade tomorrow. Thank you all so much for your help, I truly want Petrie to have the best life ever so whatever I can do to make that his reality, I'm here for it! :)

Is my chameleon adjusting to his new environment normally?

I could close the air vent! That's a great idea. Here's his back foot. Kind of unfocused but I didn't want to scare him lol. I have read the caresheet, there are just so many varying opinions on how to care for them, I'm really glad this forum exists! Thank you for the advice.

Is my chameleon adjusting to his new environment normally?

Thank you so much for the info! I was really worried about the lighting since it came as a set. I got him from PetSmart and the lady there basically knew nothing about chameleons so she's the one that told me he was 6 weeks old, thank you for clarifying, that makes me realize how much more I...
