What does this mean (w/ pics)

Mmmm probably six inches is the closest he can get to the heat light. Burns were the first thing that came to my mind too, but why would he get burns after ten months? The light has been in the same place the whole time.

What does this mean (w/ pics)

I have had my Jackson for almost a year now. This is my first chameleon. And so far he has done great. I am pretty confident in my husbandry, other than my humidifier broke so I know that my humidity is too low. I am perfectly open to criticism for that. I noticed early this week that some of...

    Mantis Warning

Thanks for your support guys. I will try to get a few pictures up tomorrow. You can not offend me. I am far too young in this hobby and have far too much to learn. And I would rather learn from my mistakes then fret over someone pointing them out. Perhaps I should have be more specific...

    Mantis Warning

Just wanted to remind everyone of the warnings about feeding mantis that are too large. My lil guy just loves to eat mantis, gobbles down like nothing else. I routinely hunt for ones that are the appropriate size, constantly throwing back ones that are too large. Normally the ordeal is over in a...

How to dry a Chameleon after misting.

LOL! The thread title made me very nervous, great flip on the post :D. Defiantly looks like hes gonna shed. Can't wait to see his colors.

    Question for all of you...

The only difference you should see during a shed is a change in appetite. I don't think daily handling of a cham that isn't interested in you is a good idea. At least not until you can get him to a more docile state. Like Jannb said, its going to take a ton of patience. As for wearing...

Our new Veield looks like she has CP!

Good luck Jeffrey. I hope that the vet says your lil girl doesn't have MBD. Be sure to do a little research into supplementing so that you know what to get and have an idea of how to schedule your supplements.
