I had something similar on a young veiled years ago. He was probably 3-4 months old. Developed what looked like a burn on his shoulder, but it wasn't. It went away after a few sheds. I'll see if I can find the photo.

I just use regular window screen. But make sure you get black. I done both silver and black and silver creates a terrible glare with the lights shining into the cage. It makes it difficult to see your cham.

So I go to the doctor and for my annual physical. The blood work comes back and my doctor tells me I'm Vit D deficient and I have to start taking supplements. I opted for pills instead of dusting my food. I suppose I'll have to get a UVB light for my desk at work next.

The easiest is fruit flies but are only good for young ones. Dubia roaches pretty much breed themselves if you keep them fed and clean.

Pothos are okay, though they have something in them that are an irritant. I use scheffalera. They do well in cages and are safe.
