Veilded chameleon looks malnourished but eats a ton.

I live in MA and the only one I think that has a clue is Odd Pet Vet. I have been there for Abronia with a fungus infection but it ultimately didn't work. Picked something up at a reptile show. . In this case I don't think Odd Pet Vet Stood a chance of treating the Abronia because most of the...

Veilded chameleon looks malnourished but eats a ton.

I know what I am about to say will be upsetting but it isn't even about the drive. I have no problem driving and paying if it worked. I have literally had the worst experience with reptile vets. Now I am sure there is a few out there that truly know what they are doing but I have witnessed a...

Veilded chameleon looks malnourished but eats a ton.

That would be great if it was an option. It's actually one of the coldest days of the year right now here in the North East.

Veilded chameleon looks malnourished but eats a ton.

You can get many medications online from other countries without a prescription. I know I bought Albendazole before.

Veilded chameleon looks malnourished but eats a ton.

I have a veiled chameleon that I believe has a parasite infection. How can I go about treating this? A reptile vet is out of the question because from my experience they have been the biggest joke going at least in my area. I am pretty certain there is something parasite related because he...

    Misting for hatchlings. Dripper?

Thanks that is what I thought just wanted to make sure. I hate drippers because a leaf moves and the collection bin stops catching anything. Also you get splatters in larger setups especially when the collection container is empty.

    Misting for hatchlings. Dripper?

Well It's been over a week and my hatchlings are still alive so they must be eating. I caught a few eating at this point. Now I want to focus on humidity so I will be going bioactive. The question I have is I do not want to flood the enclosure so how much do they really need to be misted. I...

    Bioactive substrate for hatchlings

What should I use as a bioactive substrate for my hatchlings? I typically keep dart frogs which everybody swears by ABG but with Chameleons I get different search results because ABG has bigger pieces and chameleons can eat the substrate. I was thinking reptisoil or just regular organic...

Should I place the 3 Panther hatchling in a Zoomed nano screen 10x10x12 instead of what I am using?

Thanks. I actually have live plants to make it bioactive but didn't want to disrupt them again until they started eating. Also it would be easier to see dropping on a paper towel. I could add another silk vine which wouldn't disrupt them too much for the time being. if you think I need it...

Should I place the 3 Panther hatchling in a Zoomed nano screen 10x10x12 instead of what I am using?

I just caught one eating. A fly walked over her face and she opened her mouth and it walked in. After that I saw her snipe one from a body length away. I guess I will just make sure they have enough flies in that cup area a few times a day. There are rogue flies all over the place now. Not...

    Help with Baby Panther sex?

This picture I would say female but that's me. How old here? I know the sticky said it becomes harder to tell as they get older.

Should I place the 3 Panther hatchling in a Zoomed nano screen 10x10x12 instead of what I am using?

I could drop the temp a little but the temp in most of the enclosure is 74 this is only directly under the light and where they seem to want to sit is 83 when it finally maxes out after a few hours post misting. It doesn't stay 83 long because another misting cycle starts. I could make it...

Should I place the 3 Panther hatchling in a Zoomed nano screen 10x10x12 instead of what I am using?

I still have not seen them eat after 4 days which is when the first one hatched. The youngest is 2 days old. I understand I may just not be seeing them eat. Here is the setup - Zilla bow front 18x21x25 - Zoomed 18" T5 HO 10.0 placed diagonal (Can switch to a 12" T5 Ho 5.0) Used 10.0...

    Zoo Med Repti Fogger

I'm not talking about if you need one or not just what works better. Buy a regular ultrasonic humidifier (not one that heats the water)that has a round hole on the top. You can stuff a piece of washing machine flexible drain hose into it. Cost less money and holds far more water.

    Im so proud 🥲

I think it looks great and the moss would add humidity but there is no way that will support the weight of the chameleon. Even if she doesn't eat it which she very well could it will not hold up when she walks around. I use the stuff all the time with my dart frogs and while wet after soaking...
