I haven't posted about McLovin' and his lady Muffin for a while. I have almost lost hope for the first clutch she layed in August, while they haven't molded over, most are pretty crumpled in, small, or turning yellow. She layed a clutch of nine eggs about 3 months ago I believe, Of which 8 molded over very quickly, but that one remains fat and promising. After that laying about a month and a half later she showed receptive so I introduced them one more time.
Here are some Pics of the two, and of the most recent mating. Warning...At the bottom I am going to post a pic of ...the "Money Shot" I guess you could say. How they positioned themselves made it easy for me to get a shot of the actual penetration that occurs in mating Chameleons, Pardalis in this case.
The Mating, Note, the crust on her lip was bug guts that wiped clean shortly after. And disregard the horrible curtains the landlord had that we never took down because we covered them with Cham cages. Sucks how they came out in the shot.
THE MONEY SHOT!
Thanks,
Joe
