Easy way to keep a good humidity?

I've just thought scrolling through the posts on here and would u be able to easily increase and keep a stable humidity all day by simply placing a plasitc tray with a heating pad of a correct wattage unerneath a flexarium/ screen viv? with the pad gently heating the water, it evaporates into the viv directly above increasing the overall humidity? Has anyone tried this before becuase i know it works with an aquarium heater, ive heard of people doing it indartfrog vivs in the false bottoms, or infact insted of even using a heat pad like i said just using the aquarium heater with the built in thermostats they come with?

I'd do without the heating pad. Providing water alone will increase humidity. Just be sure to change it often, as you don't want it to become a place for bacteria.

Really a better, cleaner way would be to put something up to cover the back and sides of the enclosure. Lots of people use peg board as it has holes for some ventilation but really a plastic bag would work.

That's no problem when the cham doesn't have any contact to the "waterbox". The bacteria doesn't evaporate

Just use a live plant and water it every few days

a simple kitchen trash bag can be attached to one or more sides of the cage to raise humidty, ones side will raise it significantly , or you could do it all 3 sides only 1/2 way up so that it doesnt interfere with basking in the top part of the cage, another cheap alternative , at most home stores you can get a 2'x4' piece of opaqe, easily cut, bendable, drillable plastic, for about $6 can easily be screwed or wire tied to most cage frames in minutes, dont go to the plexiglass panels ,they cost 4x as much , these are flourecent light panels and are usually available in opaqe white or frosted clear and more pliable than plexiglass
