Have you ever been bitten by a chameleon? Is it bad? My Panther is very placid but he tried once and I was fast enough to move my hand..:D Scary!

I have had plenty of bites over the years from my daughter's wild caughts mostly and it's really not that bad. I'd also had a few bites when hand feeding the old and the sick.

Ive been bittin a few times by my 7 month old vield. Does not hurt... they have no teeth so it feels like a strong pinch.

Have you seen the picture from a previous thread, the one that Jessica so kindly, thought I would like to see?..;)
Lots of blood and they are talking about stitches! I’m pretty sure I don’t want to experience it!

Haha, you asked!
but we think that one happened because the person tried to pull away and the TEETH tore the skin.
if your cham does happen to bite, let him release on his own. you may end up with a bite impression, but not so much blood.
never pull away, youll hurt the cham, and you.

Yeah they def HAVE teeth. If you dont believe us just try gettting bitten. lol
Ive been bitten so many times its ridiculous. Only had blood drawn twice though. A big adult male veiled I had yrs ago took a chunk out of my hand. And my wc male faly "Professor" he took a nice v shaped chunk out of a finger. Hurt like he-- for about a week. Most are only bluffing though. They will head butt your hand most of the time. (key word there is "most") lol

theres a pic of a gravid carpet that shows some serious teeth...i think from dez. i'll try to find it and post it. :D

LOL! I know and I regretted straight away!
Thanks for the advise! Luckily for me Fender puffs up and hisses or gives lots of other signs that he wants to be left alone when he is grumpy.. So I stay away Just to be on the safe side!;)
