Today I bought a cricket keeper, the larger one. I was having a heck of a time catching crickets from my tank. It was a 10 gallon with dirt and hidey holes like tp tubes, a log, small box, etc. I just could not seem to catch them in that tank. This cricket keeper has the black tubes that supposedly the crickets will crawl up and hide in, then you pull out a tube and dump them into a cup for dusting or can dust in the tube. (which I wouldn't do because they aren't supposed to have dust all over them all the time) Hopefully I'll have an easier time with this one. I threw in an orange quarter and small dishes came with it for the water gel.
I keep thinking of what else what else could I do, buy, make for him and worrying about the cost but then I have to remind myself that I did the same with the hedgehogs. Once you have them set up, happy, and spoiled, you get to sit back and enjoy them. I'm not quite there yet with Swyft. I still want the curtain rod and rope, and today my bf suggested I let a pothos grow across the curtain rod as well. It just so happens that I have another pothos I could do this with AND that I have a ceiling hook already in the ceiling near the area I would do this. How perfect is that?
