So I have not really been on. Last month was terrible for me having lost my aunt, spent waaay to much time on planes, endured terrible cry sessions with family, delivered a friends cham to its early demise, the list seems to go on and on. Man when it rains it really pours.
On the bright side I landed a part time job at my favorite store, which the said cham's clutch hatched 44 good strong baby's now of which i get to help take care of 3 times a week, I am really grateful for this opportunity to help out before I get started on my own chameleon adventures. How it reminds me as we lose some life around us other new life is brought to us. It really reaffirms how i feel about these beautiful creatures. I had planned on throughly learning about chams on these forums by helping those that i could, so i came back to see what was what in the CF world and what do I see but sick sick chams topping the forums tonight and I feel disheartened and discouraged. While I realize that since I am doing all the proper research and checking it all 500 times before i actually order my beauty I will be able to provide more than proper care to allow my loved ones to grow be healthy and enlighten my soul. BUUUUUT the thought of dealing with more loss when it inevitably comes has my mind, body and soul twisted from the inside out. Being so discouraged has me thinking i shouldn't even bother, but this is nonsense talking and the leftovers of all the recent loss around me. So I write this to myself and others to remind us that while we cant save them all, we can do our best for our own kids and the kids of others. To say THANKS!!!
to all those doing what they can for people that clearly shouldn't not have even made a purchase.
And remember that the tough times never last but the tough people always do.
Keep on keeping on. Hopefully we can keep our heads high and keep getting things done no matter what life throws at us.
