The Rundown

Cage Info:

* Cage Type - Aluminum frame/screen 4x2x2

• Lighting – Perfecto 30” fixture w/ Zoo Med Reptisun 10.0
Flukers clamp lamp 5.5 w/ 60 watt soft white bulb.
Lights on @5:30/6am lights out at 7:30pm

Temperature – Floor temp 72° basking area 87°.
Lowest overnight temp 62°. Temps are measure by temperature gun.

* Humidity – After stabilizing the humidity level is almost a constant 57.
Regular daily misting and a water drip device. Humidity is measured by an
analog humidity gauge.

* Plants - One Hibiscus approximately 40” 1 Schefflera Arboricola 8 Exo-Terra
jungle vines.

• Placement – The cage is in my computer room. Only my wife and I access that
room. Total height of room is 89” [7.5’] Cage is off the floor by 2 feet.

* Location - North East, North America.


Chameleon Info:

* Your Chameleon – Male Chameleo Calyptratus, approximate age is 8 months?
Owned since April 11th 2009

* Handling - How often do you handle your chameleon? Almost daily.

* Feeding - What are you feeding your cham? Near adult crickets 6 in the
morning and 7 in the late afternoon, and superworms are fed 4 in the morning
and 4 in the late afternoon. Crickets are fed potatoes, carrots, collard greens,
apples. Superworms are fed a mixture of bran flakes and honey.

* Feeder insects are dusted with Zoo Med Reptivite w/ D3 & Rep-Cal
multivitamins, they are offered every other day regardless if indoors or
outdoors.

* Chameleon is misted 3 times a day with a 32 ounce hand sprayer that emits a
fine mist, the water is treated with 8 drops of Zoo Med’s Reptisafe.
The procedure takes 5 minutes. He drinks/ laps mostly during the noon
misting.

* Urates consist of one normal yolky excretion white & soft yellow coloration.
Fecal droppings consists of 2 or 3 dark brown to black football shaped pods.
The breeder I purchased from assured me that my specimen is captive bon and
has been checked for parasites.

* History – He’s not aggressive nor does he react to his reflection in the mirror,
mild mannered, loves being held

• Current Problem – Burnt on his casque recently. Basking lamp was relocated
after incident.
