Today I went looking for some chameleon items. I found the bamboo sticks at Hobby Lobby and they were on sale too! I got one set and divided it between the two cages, took my time threading it around and fastening it, then threading around their fake vine. Both chams have been climbing up, down, all around checking them out, its so cute!
I shopped around at Home Depot and Lowe's for the lighting enclosures I wanted but didn't find what I had in mind. I'll look online and worst case scenario I'll buy from Petsmart some aquarium hood thing but I don't want to do that until I have to.
I offered Jolly one of the roaches but he didn't go for it. He watched it for awhile, I thought he was interested, but he didn't go get it. His color is still dark today, he hissed at me while I put in the bamboo sticks so I'm calling him moody. His green is very green but the dark has taken over a lot of the green today.
Swyft was all over the first roach, he's probably spoiled now and wont want crickets. I put a second one in there as well, if he doesn't eat it I'll take it back out but he probably did eat it. He's a good eater, I like that. He drinks well but does not like to be sprayed. He's quick as a cat to get out of the line of fire, then quick goes back to lap it all up.
Humidity is ranging in the 40's today for their area.
I put a gut-load ice cube in the cricket house, I've lost a few crickets possibly due to the heat? They were dead in the cricket-quencher little holder I had. Maybe I just have too many in one area.
Time to shop for lights.
