Lost my Transvaal girl

I'm sorry to be the first one here to report a loss of a transvaalense :( My little girl left me on Friday.

My female was showing strange colors Thursday night as I was turning out the lights and made me worried.

Friday morning she was very dark and her eyes had taken a sunken appearance.
I moved her to the bathroom and gave her long misting sessions, letting it completely dry out in between sessions. She had return to normal color still had a lot of fight in her (would gap at me when my hand came near) so I was hoping that was a good sign. But by the afternoon her crest got very light and the rest of her body got dark again. I could tell she was getting very weak. She took a couple of last gasping breaths (the first time I heard any noise coming with her breaths) and was gone by 3 pm.

My male is doing fine so I am confused. I kept them in the exact same conditions. We'll see if I can whittle out what I did wrong and hope anyone else can learn from it.

Temps gradients between 78-85 Basking point in small corner reaching 90. Two 1 minute mistings a day. Drip constantly producing one drop every 45 seconds. Feeding crickets and fruit flies. Supplementing with calcium w/o D every two weeks. Gave vitamins w/D once two weeks ago. Using Repitsun 5.0, never taking outside, too hot in Desert. We have had a temp spike of 109 but should not have affected inside temperatures, air always on for animals.

I held her on the 13th to get the photo. I had not noticed anything wrong with her at the time. I almost never touch my chams. Now I'm worried that maybe I had something on my hands at the time but I am very vigilant about washing my hand before and after I handle any of my animals. Still maybe there was some sort of residue on my hands. I also just got in a new shipment of crickets but I would not think that would be the problem, I always order from LLL.

I am just so sad you lost her. If my 2 ever produce babies the first one is yours.
