Bacchus is just doing me proud!

Dr O

so friendly, the second he sees someone he races to the door hoping that they'll take him out, colors that just blow out my camera's sensors (particularly the red-->orange-->yellow), and eats like a pig. if he's not the epitomy of my "Tie-Dye Chameleon", i don't know what ever will be. and he's just approaching a year. love this guy!!

(p.s.-i can't have too many ladies for him. if you've got the right one, let me know!)

what started as this:

holy colorful chameleon!!!! Every color of the rainbow and then some!! WOW!!! Also, your camera takes incredible pics!!

You have one awesome looking male!! He looks great good job with him and the pictures. So vibrant he is almost glowing or is he?

I particularly love when male chameleons get spokes around their eyes. I think they all look amazing but it's when they can do multicolor spokes it just makes me go gaga. In some of the shots Bacchus is throwing blue spokes rather than black. That's typically when they are alert, but not horny or challenging another male. I know it's not rare or anything, but I love when my chameleons that are able to do that, do it.

Wow. That's about the only word that sums him up - absolutely amazing coloration and I also love the spokes around the eyes!!! :D

He looks so amazing! I he seems to have changed even from the last time I saw him.

And great photos, they're beautiful.

Beautiful colors on Bacchus. Who's his sire?
Awesome photos.

i broke my own rule on him re: having family pix before i buy (happens when i see a cham that i just must have!). i bought him from Yankfathom who in turn got him from Eric at Chameleons 101, but i never followed up with Eric to get his history. maybe i should still try, but i don't have the dates of the previous sales, etc.

Great pics! Say,what type of camera and lens you using?

these were with my all-around Panasonic Lumix FZ-150. the ultra close-ups have double stacked macro lenses; can get some wicked shots with that setup, but the DOF is literally 1-2mm at that magnification.

for that matter, probably anything that i've posted taken in the past 8 months or so (including hatchling pix) were with that camera.

I do believe he is the most beautiful panther I have seen.. Fantastic job! Will this handsome young man have any children in the near future?:D

Wow beautifully done, those pictures look incredible. It certainly helps when you have a great looking cham to shoot!

Bacchus is truly amazing looking, and those are some great photos :)
