My order of crickets (3,000) got lost somewhere due to the hurricane. I feel kind of bad for the icky stinky bugs - trapped in a box, over crowded, minimal food all gone and probably hot and oppressive. RIP crickets. 😔 I dread that you may eventually be delivered DOA.

Just checking in. How you doing over there? They say it might be a month for us to get power back. They have to rebuild the substation🙁

Power flickered, but stayed on. That’s crazy to not have power for a month! They need to build a new substation a lot quicker than that. But you and yours are ok and that’s more important.

Yeah we are good. Been cleaning up the tree limbs and trying to stand a palm tree back up.

Had to grab some feeders from Pet Supermarket today. As I was wishing I could take their newly arrived little boy veiled home, I noticed the uvb above him. Was hard to get a clear pic, but it says UVB Changed 11-27-16. Yes, 2016. I’m really hoping that they mean the whole fixture was changed and not the bulb. I asked employees and of course they know nothing.

Yeah, hard not to take one home when you see the conditions they're kept in. The bad thing is people see how they're kept and think that's what they need to do too.

I’m hoping against hope that the majority of them are sold to suckers like us who can’t stand the idea of these sweet innocent babies having bleak futures.

Watching the cone should have a better idea tomorrow where it's headed. Did get 200 gallons of gas for the generator. I hope it doesn't head for lake O, our area is so rural already have ankle deep water in the yard.

Spike says hello!! We have been super busy, that's why I haven't been on here much lately. Aside from work, my degree, etc. we are also selling + buying a new home! It's just been a lot to deal with. We close on the 18th for both houses. Hopefully all goes well. Until then I'll try to post when I can! Hope everyone and their chameleons are doing great!

Thank you! We close/move on Oct 18th. He has some silkworms right now but he's chasing around black soldier flies in his enclosure instead :LOL:
