Nah, dont go there.. i would say
Waterfall makes the bacteria to grow, its a loving place for bacteria.
The bacteria will spread in the air , into your cham lungs, and make you cham very ill.

And for the pond will get pooped in , dead insects etc. The cham could fall into and drown. I would say a big no no no.

Sorry to hear so negative, but its not good for you cham.
Get a drainage system of somehow in your terrarium , and get a rainsystem, Or you can handspray 3 times a day for 10-15 min.

I must admit I used waterfalls in two of my vivs for several years before deciding they are not a good idea. It was really difficult to keep them clean and inconvenient to take them out of a well planted viv, i.e I'd have to take plants and branches out each time to get at the waterfall. Insects drowned on a daily basis and used to clog up the tube. One waterfall used to leak where king mealworms had eaten through it.
It took me a few years to admit defeat and change my mind so I can talk from experience - don't go there!!

They are right, my cham poops in the water catch system for my dripper like it was a toilet. I removed it and put in plastic liner and drainage. i never caught him drinking out of it, but you shoulnd't chance it. drinking off leaves is the natural method. drippers are easy to make. my first was water bottle with pin hole in bottom. you can loosen or tighten the lid to control drip flow.
