zoo med the big dripper

Personally I prefer the little dripper. Or you can make one just like the little dripper with a valve.

I cut the top off a med water bottle, poked a small hole just above the bottom and filled it with ice. It drips faster the closer you have it to your basking light. It will drip for a good 6 hours.

i would buy the big dripper...it comes with a second nozzle and hose so then you can make another dripper from any jar with a lid

I've heard that chams will not drink water if it is too cold. Does you cham do okay, do you see him drinking? What kind is it?

Yes he goes after the drips. I have it dripping on a few leaves near his basking lamp before it gets to his branch. The water does seem cool to the touch. Bil is a 4 month old Ambilobe. Bil and I are getting a Mistking for Christmas.

I was at BIG5 sporting goods and they sell personal mister systems about 24oz with a 2 foot hose and a valve to reg how much pressure great for ur 30 sec showers im going to pick one up today

Thanks Sandra! I'm going to make one this weekend, for now I'm using the bottle method with lots of misting.
