Zeke says hi back. oh and by the lol Zeke is a male, and thank you for the car advice ill let you know what happens

I agree Zeke is most likely female, though her receptive patterns aren't exactly the norm of chameleons, her colors are spot on for a receptive female.

wow he/she has no spurs that we can see oh my lol was told he was a boy now i gots a lot of reading to do and fast here i thought he was just getting fat but going to send some pics right away

Also, thought not the best indicator, her casque is looking a little small to be a male.

Well, to start, the biggest difference in care is that Zeke now needs a proper laying bin in her enclosure. So, at least a foot of digging medium (organic soil, playsand, or a mixture) in a bin, maybe a trashcan.

Here's a great source: https://www.chameleonforums.com/threads/laying-bin-set-up-educational-video.77225/

I am surprised she hasn't laid before now, do you know how old she is? I mean it is definitely not anything to worry about since she looks fine and healthy. Laying as little as possible is best.

No worry and she is a pretty female even with the dim light photo.

Welcome to the forums! Zeke is a very pretty girl and looks to be carrying eggs. You need to set up a laying bin ASAP so she will have a place to lay or she will become egg bound and die.

thank you yes i am in the process right now just need to get the soil and or sand tomorrow after work
thanks for your concern

I have to say though, though I love female receptive colors in general, I generally love her patterns with the receptive colors. I mean that kind of patterning is very unique in my opinion, she is absolutely gorgeous.

thank you i always thought she was beautiful even when we thought she was a male lol

Update for all the people concerned we bought a bucket roughly 3 - 5 gallons and filled almost to the top with 100 percent organic soil moistened so she could tunnel without it collapsing and is now in her habitat. we will take pictures of it later and post them so you all can let me know if i did it right or not thanks for the link to the video it was a great help. keep tuned
once again thank you all so very much would hate to lose her we love her very much
