Yuki's Progression

Here's a couple pictures of how well Yuki is doing! She's doing awesome since we picked her up. She looks like a completely different chameleon now! I am so proud of her She has such a will to live! (She's also hissing a bit less. She only opened her mouth once when I misted her. Normally she hisses and tries to bite me via lunging...)

In the second picture you can see how nice and white her urates are now. (Yes yes, I removed the poop right after taking the pictures ). I'm so happy with how well she is doing. I just had to share it with everyone!

Thanks everyone! I'm going to be collecting some poop samples over the weekend to bring in for more tests on Monday (Our locally local vet won't see chameleons, as they don't feel comfortable enough working with them. They do lizards, but chameleons are too exotic They had a look at her before, but couldn't offer enough help. ) We will be taking her to a new vet (hopefully) on Friday for a checkup! We'll also be taking Marimo as well. Have to register them both, and we'd like to get to know the vet too. They were recommended to us by our vet, and they send all their "exotic reptile" patients to them! They only look at reptiles and birds, so it should be a good one!

I'm sure everything is fine, but we want to get to know the vet a bit and register both chameleons with them so that they have an idea of what we have. I'll be sure to post more update pictures! She's grown a bit already. No shedding but.. she's getting there.
