There are many plants in this family. But the one most seen locally here (California) in landscapes, would be a poor choice. Not many branches for climbing and spikey long leaves. Yucca are a outdoors plant, and would'nt do to good indoors. They also grow in arid/dry soils. So wet, over watered soil, would quickly kill them.
