Young Veiled Shedding--VitaSpray or Just H2O?

Hey guys, my male veiled chameleon has started shedding on his casque and along his body a bit. Was wondering what is generally recommended during this period...should I keep misting the same or increase duration of sessions? Also wanted to see if that VitaSpray/Reptimist, etc was actually benefitial for shedding or if I should stick to just spring water.

I've only ever used water, and never had a problem. You can up your misting a bit if you like, but I don't really bother, I make sure they drink and thats about it.

See Ya,

Todd

Sorry for the double post, but he's almost done shedding and he looks very dark, like he's trying to absorb more heat but temps are 85.7 degrees f. where he was and the uvb bulb (reptisun 5.0) are brand new. Is it normal for a male veiled chameleon (~2 months old) to be a little dark after a shed?

They tend to be pretty pissy in general during the shed until all of it is off.
Does he still have big chunks flying off of him?
