Young veiled fell off branches

My 4 month old veiled was doing great until last Friday, when I left him out to bask under the sun at the warmest time of the day. I noticed him staying at the lower level of the branches, which means he doesn't like the bask. I took him back indoor immediately and set up the basking bulb. That night I noticed he is kind of stumbling but later everything was fine. He enjoyed his food and water like ever before.
Sunday morning I took him out for basking under sun, and he enjoyed it.
Sunday night I was doing a normal check on him by taking him out of the cage. I rarely handle it, but hand fed sometimes. He was so freaked out yesterday and nearly fell off the branch. I caught him before he fell. After I placed it back, he seems very week to grasp the branch, and one of the legs seems at a weird angle. He didn't use that leg. So I placed him back to the basking spot and later he managed to crawl to his sleeping spot. Would it be a sprain?
This morning, as the most thing I am afraid of, I found him on the floor. I have coconut fiber as substrate, so the fall should not be that terrible. No I placed him in a small bowl with a UVB lamp.
Amazingly, he accepted a dusted cricket from me.
So my initial thought is he may have a MBD. I didn't dust the cricket every feed (only once a week) because the cricket is feeding on high-calcium flucker diet. I was worried about him getting too much calcium. Now maybe I was wrong about this. But his arms, legs and casque all look normal (I checked the pictures of MBD cham on the forum). And at least his arm can still support him, and its tail is curling up, which should be a good sign?
I know a vet trip is necessary. But besides MBD, what else could cause a young veiled to fall (=weak grasp)? Would it be a food poison or a sprain?

He could be in the early stages of MBD and not showing the outward curvy like limbs yet. How long have you had him where you were only giving calcium once a week? Can you post some pics please???

That's my thought as well. But just wondering what else can go wrong to cause the fall. It drinks and eats really well. Temperature is from 72-85. Medium size reptibreeze screen cage.
I had it for 2.5 months. The recent 1.5 month were on a reduced calcium dust. I will resume dusting for every feed.
Just now my wife told me that its arms seems strong, but the legs are not. now It is crawling in the temporary container where I put it in since this morning to prevent another fall. I will try to take some pics after work.
