young veiled chameleon not eating or drinking

hello everyone,

First time chameleon owner with some questions regarding eating and drinking, may be over reacting but better safe than sorry!



Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - The species, sex, and age of your chameleon. How long has it been in your care? - Male veiled; approximately 2 months; 2 days today is his third morning
Handling - How often do you handle your chameleon? - only handled to place him in his new home.
Feeding - What are you feeding your cham? What amount? What is the schedule? How are you gut-loading your feeders? - Trying to feed small crickets; put 5 in feeding cup with two or three free ranged, has only eaten 5 since moved in tried hand feeding this morning (not successful); gut loading with carrots and papaya
Supplements - What brand and type of calcium and vitamin products are you dusting your feeders with and what is the schedule? zoo-med repti-calcium w/o d3 dusted at every feeding attempt, zoo-med repti-vite to be used every other week on tuesday, not yet used
Watering - What kind of watering technique do you use? How often and how long to you mist? Do you see your chameleon drinking? - misting him 2-3 times daily until leaves and vines are dripping approx. two minuet sessions at a time, haven't seen him drink yet
Fecal Description - Briefly note colors and consistency from recent droppings. Has this chameleon ever been tested for parasites? -hes pooped twice one small one urate was small and light yellow fecal matter solid moist light brown, the second larger droppings urate was larger again light yellow with the ending third chalky white, fecal matter again solid moist and light brown
History - Any previous information about your cham that might be useful to others when trying to help you. - have purchased from pet store, were feeding him small super worms i believe

Cage Info:
Cage Type - Describe your cage (Glass, Screen, Combo?) What are the dimensions?- repti-breeze medium all screen cage 16x16x30
Lighting - What brand, model, and types of lighting are you using? What is your daily lighting schedule? - repti-sun 5.0 uvb mini compact bulb and zoo-med daylight blue 60w heat bulb in mini combo deep dome fixture 12 hours on 12 hours off
Temperature - What temp range have you created (cage floor to basking spot)? Lowest overnight temp? How do you measure these temps? - 85*-90* at basking spot, gradient from 80-70* throughout cage, ,lowest overnight temp 66.9*; temps monitored with digital thermometer
Humidity - What are your humidity levels? How are you creating and maintaining these levels? What do you use to measure humidity? -humidity created with misting, no humidity meter
Plants - Are you using live plants? If so, what kind? -no
Placement - Where is your cage located? Is it near any fans, air vents, or high traffic areas? At what height is the top of the cage relative to your room floor? Cage is located in my room in front of window, top of cage is 50" above floor. low traffic
Location - Where are you geographically located? -live in long island new york

Current Problem - The current problem you are concerned about. - he's eaten very little, maybe 5 crickets since saturday, haven't seen him drinking, has zoo-med natural bush plant (fake) that came with the repti-breeze cham kit that i have been misting constantly moves around but seems to spend a lot of time basking. also a few times while hunting he's caught the cricket and dropped it while chewing, idk if thats a sign of something or not but figured it should be noted, did not count these as the 5 he's eaten, and I'm using small sized crickets.
