Young brevs

Just discovered some hitherto unobserved brevs in my terrarium. One of my females began digging early May, but took some time to decide on the right place, and it was at the back of a heavily planted cage, so I thought I would do more harm than good by trying to dig things up. These new younguns, while tiny, have clearly been out and about for a while before I spotted them - they're >3/4 inch; too big to be eaten. Since they've clearly been able to make a living on the smaller crickets and springtails, is it safe to leave them in with the parents for now, or should I remove them? (I would eventually in any case, to keep from inbreeding.)

I can offer no help to your question but wow how cool to just find the little guys. How about a picture or 2 or 3??? Congrats.

I will get pictures, when I figure out how to evade the cloaking mechanism brevs throw out around my camera. I swear, the whole species distorts electromagnetic waves or something, so the camera will focus on everything in the known universe except the chameleon! (Or, maybe I just need to sit down with the manual and learn how to use manual focus.)

For now, both are in a smaller enclosure (the smallest of my cricket tubs), with paper towel on the bottom and a few cuttings of plants and leaves. One of them - the first one I discovered - appears unable to move his hind legs. I saw that when I found him last night, but it was late, and I thought maybe he had just let them slip while sleeping; today it's clear there's a problem there. I found him up on a branch, as I said in my first post, he is clearly larger than a new hatchling, and I saw him eat a pinhead this morning. He can move with his front legs, though it doesn't look tremendously efficient. So, he's clearly been able to get around somewhat and get food. If I knew he was happy and content, I would have no qualms about raising him to maturity (with the understanding that he would need his own enclosure when he and his sib get big enough, and he would obviously never be bred); where I'm a little worried is, he being a cham, I don't know whether he's feeling just fine, in pain and discomfort, or somewhere in between. Any thoughts would be appreciated. I am somewhat hesitant to involve a vet at this stage, just because he's so little and fragile-looking, and I would be afraid of damaging him in transit.

I wouldn't worry so much about moving them, they are tougher than they look. I was breaking down a few old pygmy enclosures a few weeks ago and found 4 or 5 hatchings and a couple clutches of eggs. I kept pulling pothos out and finding little pigs on them. The enclosures had been sitting in the garage on the floor with no food or water for weeks. The eggs got tossed around too, they have hatched out since then and are doing great.
