Yesssss! It's a boy! (Meller's)

We purchased a 3-some of Meller's chameleons in July. The importer said they were 1.2. Pretty well guaranteed it, in fact. But would not disclose how they were able to determine gender. When the Meller's arrived they did look like 1.2 to me, as well. Two of them had the taller, chunkier frame (females) and the other had the leaner frame and the deeper scallops on the dorsal crest and tail.

Well, the other day the one that is supposed to be the male left some very obvious evidence. He is "latrine oriented", which is a zoological term for animals that select a certain spot to defecate. He climbs out on an extension cord to do his thing.
