Yemen not getting enough heat

I have a 7/8 month old male yemen, Ive recently moved him from a 18/18/24 exo terra glass viv to a 24/24/48 screened cage. He's about 12" long at moment but I'm worried hes not getting enough heat, there is a 80w Arcadia d3 heat /UVB lamp combined on top of cage.he eats and moves well around the new cage.bit just a little concerned thats all.

I Havnt got a temp stat on at moment.got to look at how I can get one to sit inside the cage, not to sure how to put a pic up on here, can you let me know if you know how.cheers

For the temperature monitoring, I bought a laser pointer digital temperature gun from Amazon for under 20$. Very accurate and quite cool to have around to check temps of say your fridge/freezer, window sills (to find drafts), etc. As far as uploading a pic goes, when you go to post a reply, there should be an "upload a file" tab next to the "post reply" tab.

Your setup looks good. I'd add some more horizontal perches to give him a chance to thermoregulate and choose where he wants to bask or chill out.
