My yemen chameleon has one of her eyes closed shut. She still eating but it remains shut. I don't think she can open it. Any advice would be great.

She could have something in it mist her real good, and see if she can clean it out you might even try a shower by reflecting the water off the wall and on to her while she sets on a plant or something. If this don't clear things up, and things don't change in the next day or so I would suggest taking her to a good reptile vet to see what is up. A pic of her might give us a better understanding of what is going on as well. Good luck.

Thank you for your advice. Misting regularly. Don't have a shower which don't help things.

HI Karen, Mine has also got the same problem it happened as she was shedding I dont think mine has shed properly or some has got stuck in her eye, she can open it but doesnt keep it open. Has she shed? Just a thought

No she's not shed. Is just happened only just noticed it. She's my boyfriends chameleon.. he hadn't noticed I only seen it last night. Thank you anyway
