Yellow cheeks and lips in Furcifer pardalis.

monkey wrench!!

Where did you get him from, Sire?

Also what are you gutloading/dusting?

Not sure of his parentage, got him from a fellow forum member when he was 14 months old.

I use Rep-Cal (with and without D3 as scheduled) and Hertivite (once or twice a month).

My wc chams get a good amount of out door time. But my ambanja ranger dosent seem to like it out side and stress out there and if you look at my old thread holy ambanja and Nosy faly pics. You can see ranger has a bunch of yellow on his face and has only seen about 8 hrs of out side sun.

;)... Im a fan! I lurk your threads a bunch

That's AWESOME:cool: I am glad other people like my chams too:) I am not saying it is diet, natural sun or what kind of feeders someone feeding or genetics. I am just stating what I have noticed with my gut load and it has made my chams cheeks yellow now weather it works on others is up in the air. But reptoman has been using my dry gutload for a good while now and his chams cheeks are real yellow.

Lol. As soon as I can I will.. some of the stuff in my gutload is seasonal and I buy it in bulk to last me the year. And some of what I get I can only get from a local mom and pop farmers market store. I cant find it online anywere. As soon as I go to the show or sooner and sale some ranger babies I will go buy some more and make some up.

My Male Ambilobe (Link) has yellow lips. Really shows it off when he flares up.

I know the huge yellow over the cheeks is not from eating. But, the edge of the mouth being yellow like this pic is what I'm talking about.

so your saying the chams have kool aid stains on their lips. :D I thought you were kidding in your last post. Maurer3d which member you get him Ive never seen ambilobes that coloration ever.

i have have 2 males, both cb, 1 ambanja and 1 ambilobe. the ambanja is YELLOW lips, the whole inside of his mouth is brighter than a crayola crayon! But my ambilobe has a white mouth both go outside all summer long. The Ambanja seems happy and has beautilful bright colors, but my ambilobe seems to really be missing the sun, he looks very faded, almost dirty (like he's covored in hardwater stains.) I feed both gutleaded dubia, the occaisonal silkworm, reptiflies.
