Hey thanks for the reply
I try getting them out at about 10 o clock, where the sun is good for about an hour or two, then its tooo hot.
both lizards were apart at first, acclimating and all that. They seemed to show great signs when near each other so i started putting them together slowly. bits by bits.
Given ive only had them for several months, theyve made a full recovery from being dehydrated wc. well looking better now then from when they started.
So from the get go, they were being fed crickets & dubias, . Ive added 3 or 4 worm species to their diet. silks supers and wax. Ive got an ooth sitting too.
He daily eats maybe a few crickets and a silk in front of me mostly. not always does he look twice at the other items. He is sort of picky, wont eat from bug death traps or feeder bowls. crickets and worms must be peaking out from the leaves. hunting i guess...idk!
My female sort of eats everything but the supers. She prefers med crickets and roaches.
Now my chameleons are breeding and have been for about a month or two. I caught them breeding for the 4th or 5th time since mid summer just the other day. Im not sure if thats the last time but im going to give it some time before she is left alone again.
My chameleons eat more or less each week, i think my male eats just a little less since theyve been together, but daily he eats a little so im satisfied. maybe he will eat more once shes out and they are done.
My bugs are currently being fed this extra mazuri diet that my tortoise hates as a dry gutload. I use greens, the same greens i feed my pancake. red leaf, green leaf and collared. random squash and carrots. im going to order cricket crack specific for montane species tomorrow from steve sims.
