cool i will have to look into the potatoes nutrients and thaks for the info about the dark and about the screen at the bottom i seen a guy on youtube with great report of this technique working without having to move the beetles and sifting bedding im not sure if i will have to assist but every week or so ill run my fingers thru the bedding the make sure the eggs or newly hatched worms fall thruLooks nice!
For the supers: put some half cutted potato in! They love it, espec. when the potato is 2-5 day old (after cutted half). And make the pupating place dark, the pupate faster in dark.
Why do you made a half mesh-bottom container for the supers? Do the eggs really fall down???
