My veiled is walking circles around his cage and won't open his eyes. We put a fresh batch of crickets in there today, but he has walked past them and won't eat them im assuming because he won't open his eyes to see them?? what does this mean?

Not to alarm you, but that sounds a lot like a condition of an infection, i cannot remember what it is called but it has happened to others on the forum, hopefully others look at this and see because it is serious from what i remember

Male 6-12 months...screen terrarium 18x18x24... 100% bottled spring water on plants 4x's plus a day didn't the first 2 days bcuz we didn't knw the fogger wasnt enough.. But have since... Eats crickets ... Heat lamp and UVB bulb ...! Have had him about 10 days now ...keep frog moss on top of paper towels for the cage bottom and 2 large branches tht give him access top to bottom corner to corner a large fake plant in corner for coverage...all research leads me to believe the eye closed thing is possible dehydration... Can u syringe feed water to help rehydrate if tht is the issue? And whts the pacing circles around the cage about?

Which way is he turning? I know chams can get inner-ear infections, however, all problems like this should be seen by a vet asap! Especially with his eyes closed, that worries me. Any other symptoms at all?

Male 6-12 months...screen terrarium 18x18x24... 100% bottled spring water on plants 4x's plus a day You shouldn't use bottled water I dont think. I wouldn't use bottled water as it often has things in it we don't know about. If you're worried about the condition of your tap water you can buy things like reptsafe to make it ok for usedidn't the first 2 days bcuz we didn't knw the fogger wasnt enough.. But have since... Eats crickets Only crickets? How are you gutloading them? You should really feed a variety of well gutloaded insects. Silk/horn worms, locusts, roaches are a few examples. ... Heat lamp and UVB bulb ...! Have had him about 10 days now ...keep moss on top of paper towels for the cage bottomPlease remove the moss. It's a breeding grou d for bacteria and has no benefit to your chameleon. and 2 large branches tht give him access top to bottom corner to corner a large fake plant in corner for coverage...It would be good to add some real plantsall research leads me to believe the eye closed thing is possible dehydration...Closed eyes are a sign of illness but I dont think dehydration. Sunken in eyes and orange urates are signs of dehydration Can u syringe feed water to help rehydrate if tht is the issue? And whts the pacing circles around the cage about?

Just a few things I noticed. Hope this helps :)

ok I've read a lot about showering to rehydrate but if u put him in the shower isn't tht exposing him to the city untreated tap water and isn't tht bad?? I use bottled 100%spring water which I read was wht u should use... My Cham is not feeling good and I'm hoping it's not the water I thought was right for him anybody know for sure??

Is he walking clockwise or counterclockwise? If he is walking counterclockwise, then that might be signs that he's had a seizure. And that enclosure is way too small for him, he should be in a 2'x2'x4' enclosure.
