Susie (Panther) finished laying this afternoon so this evening I started digging.

When all was said and done, WOW

40 eggs!!!

SO far they all look good and I am hoping they are all fertile.

Congrats on the eggs. How's Susie doing? That was allot of eggs for a panther. After a few days of feeding her well I recommend cutting back on her food and heat. The same method that works for veileds also helps with panthers.

Doing well as far as we can tell 12 hours post lay. No complications and she laid them in all over the course of 6 hours. Her spot isnt exactly hot, 85ish and as you say it is time to feed her.

Anyhow, I was caught off guard, but at first glance, she seems fine, so we will move forward!!
