hey guys sometimes for my chameleon i put a bunch of ice cubs on top of his cage so that they start to melt and he can attempt to catch them in his mouth
do you guys think this is a better strategy than misting the cage manually???
I would agree. Better to use a dripper. Chams like warm water. You will still need to mist him regularly through out the day. I doubt if the ice cubes would provide very much in the way of humidity.
It is a good way to replace a dripper but no a good way to replace misting. Because misting will give you a higher humidity and more spots for your chameleon to be able to hydrate.
