I am not familiar with that kit. If you have a solar meter check it periodically to make sure it’s adequate. If so report back haha, new kinds of uvb fixtures and lights that are good quality is a win win. Currently the trusted sources are limited.

Hi. I don’t see a brand name, but it isn’t a ReptiSun or Arcadia. I would be cautious about buying any uvb other than those two brands without being able to confirm its output with a solarmeter. While I only tested once, I did get one of the better known of the alternate brands (ReptiZoo) fixture and bulb and its output was dismal and inadequate. I have Arcadia bulbs that have been in use for well over a year that put out more uvb than the brand new one I tested. The T5HO fixture has been fine and works great with an Arcadia bulb. However, it’s just more economical to buy ReptiSun or Arcadia to start with.
