i wanna get a chameleon, perhaps a baby from fl chams, and i was wondering, the lights or cage wouldn't have to be different for a baby right ?

Not necessarily. I recommend getting something at least 2x2x4 feet that can be used when they’re a juvenile or adult. Get the proper lighting and you will be able to use at any age.
