He is about 1 3/4 yrs old I had acquired him from a local breeder that had sell his collection always was helpful and knowledgable about anything I needed and was strict to make sure I knew and had all requirements to take care of him
I would like to kno his exact type I was told ambilobe

he's awesome! and actually looks just like Pixel when he was younger and some of his boys that have been sold recently. Pix may or may not have some Mitsio in him, but his offspring with Ambi females look a lot like your boy. is yours 100%? probably not; IMO most chams will be in the mid to upper 90's of "purity" except some island locales (there was always some mixing in virtually every line somewhere down the road, years, decades, centuries, millennia). but I would call him Ambi based on his looks, what the previous owner told you, and how you should breed him. it only makes the offspring that much more Ambi!

this is why i don't come on this site as much. i give my advice and people don't take it because they don't want to believe it or its not want they want to hear. if the guy that you bought it from said its ambilobe then you have to believe him, you just cant change what local he is.

I would say this is true if you purchase directly from the breeder. But in cases like mine, bought from a reptile show person wasn't the breeder, you could be told the wrong locale. I was told ambanja and my boy clearly is not ambanja.
