Hey guy my femaile laid her egges yesterday and I want to dig them out to see how many she laid the only thing is I won't have any vermiculite until later on this evening would it be ok to dig them up keep them in the sand until i can put them in vermiculite or will it harm the eggs

If they are fertile, then leave them where they are until you are ready to put them in the vermiculite. If they are fertile then you need to keep them in the position/orientation you dig them up in when you place them on the vermiculite.

You wouldn't want to move the eggs twice. Waiting until this evening would be fine.
