Would it be ok to....

House a male and female Jackson. Ok I have an 8 month old male jackson in a 100 gallon reptarium I think the measurements are 16.5" deep x 30" wide x 48" tall. I have a hanging pothos vine, a hibiscus and a pretty large gardenia, so there is tons of foliage. Plenty of bio vine around as well. If its ok to house them together are there any precautions I would need to take?

The consensus will tell you no. And I would have to agree. Having started with both male and female in a single cage, I have found that they both did better in their own individual vivs.

I agree the male would be on her all the time. Very stressful for the female and the male when she isn't very receptive and she stars kicking the $**T out of him. :D

That would be a definite 100% NO.
Chameleons are, by and large, solitary animals that do much better in their own space.

Thanks all, I was just confused. Most books i have read say that its ok to have a male jackson with one or even two females.

Husbandry practices in this hobby have come a long way since a lot of those books were written.

Abusive relationships have never proven to work out in the end:rolleyes::p:D

Edit: Again welcome to the forum and don't keep a male or female together... too stressful for both parties.
