Worried about new panther

Hi

Purchased a baby ambilobie panther on Monday. Hes about 4 months old I think.

The day I got him he looked a nice healthy colour but the last day or so he has changed. Hes eating like a horse and pooping ok.

When in his viv he sits on a black vine and turns almost black and doesn't spend much time basking under the light. (exo terra sunray 50w) He has started to go white in places mainly where his tail meats his body.

When i get him out he seems to turn a nice colour again but still has the white patches. Im sure its not just shedding

if he is new being dark is sign of being stressed. Give him a few days to get use to his new digs.

Yeah, could be he's just trying to get settled in. I would fill out the health care sheet and post that though too. Pictures will help as well if you can.

Temperature - What temp range have you created (cage floor to basking spot)? Lowest overnight temp? How do you measure these temps?
Humidity - What are your humidity levels? How are you creating and maintaining these levels? What do you use to measure humidity?
Plants - Are you using live plants? If so, what kind?
Placement - Where is your cage located? Is it near any fans, air vents, or high traffic areas? At what height is the top of the cage relative to your room floor?
