I got a baby veiled chameleon a couple weeks ago. They told me he was about 2 months old at the time. He is super friendly and loves being out of his tank to walk all over me. Recently, he hasn't been eating well and he has been sleeping more during the day. I've read that both of these things are bad signs. I'm not sure if maybe he has something wrong with his tongue or some coordination issues. When he does eat, I have to put it right in front of his face and he hardly uses his tongue. His aim is off when he does use it and he gets really close to the feeder. I feel like he may be having some of this issues he's having, like day sleeping, due to not eating much, but I don't know how to get him to eat or what's going on. I'm really scared that he's not going to make it. Please help!! Also, his eye was swollen the other day, but it's back to normal. We moved him a couple times because we thought he may not be eating because he was cold, but then he got too hot and was digging, so I think we finally got his temps sorted out but he's still not acting well. Sorry for the novel, just worried about my baby!!
