My 4month old male veiled chameleon loves woodlice. He eats them so fast! It's great to see him have such a big appetite ( which he does anyway, with crickets too) but how often is it good/safe to feed him woodlice?
are you collecting them from the wild, or have you cultured/bred up your own?
wild ones should not be used in any significant way - they are heavy metal bioaccumulators.
captive bred ones can be somewhere around 25% of the diet. I wouldn't go much higher than that unless a lot of the rest of the diet is soft bodied (like silkworms).
