I pulled a clutch from my bearded pygmys cage today.
Woo Hoo 4 eggs :)

I candled them and can see veins and a dark spot on each one.

I am assuming this is a good thing.

I have them in moist vermiculite :) with a lid to keep the humidity up.

Should I get a incubator or just leave them like they are. the temps where they are at stay at a almost constant 73-74 degrees.

Thank you in advance.

From what i have read, pygmy eggs have been successfully incubated at room temp before.

Speaking of that i think i have some eggs somewhere in my little jungle...time to get the machete!

Good luck with them!!!

Thank you.

I happened to be moving the tank and decided heck I might as well check out the bottom of the tank and then I seen them.
She has laid before( right after I got hot) but they got crushed this time they seem bigger and firmer. I measured them. They are about 1/2 inch long.

Do they look ok? I have no idea how far along they are but they are about 1/2 inch long maybe a bit more.

Found these on the same day :)

Jeez you are getting quite the amount of pyggies! How long do they take to hatch?

I think I read 70-90 days.
The first batch I pulled on 6-21... Good thing I dont have big chams I would never be able to wait as long as some of them take.

I know right? LOL! It's just like waiting for a human baby..

70-90 days, cool! That's similar to crested geckos.

Thankfully I always have FF cultures going so I wont have to worry about food.

I know if this obsession with Pygmies keeps up I may have to venture out into other kinds ( of pygmies that is). Ihope them temporalis do good for me as these guys have.
