Wondering if Daisy has laid her eggs and a question

Daisy has somehow managed to dull the front outside claws on her feet and has started to eat a bit more and her colors are starting to return to normal. Just woondering if this means she has laid her eggs or if it doesn't mean anything. Also today her urate was oan orangy color yet she doesn't appear to be dehydrated.

Thanks,
Jevin

I don't really want to do that quite yet but no one has answered what the color of her urate means or what the outside front claws being worn down means.

The orangy coloured urate usually means that they are dehydrated. Give her extra misting for a couple of days to see if things improve. Lily wore her claws down when she was digging - they became quite blunt after her second clutch. She was still able to move around, but her grip on smoother surfaces wasn't as good as before. Do you think she might have laid? Has her appetite and thirst increased? Does she look any thinner? You will know for sure if you empty the laying bin!

the orange urate was only one day and then it was white again but I want to know what the signs are that they have laid their eggs. And by the way the turquoise color he had have almost completely disappeared and also when can I expect her appetite to come back?

Thanks,

Jevin

You will notice them digging. Afterwards they look thinner too and they are hungry again. An occasional orange tint to urates is ok. I am thinking that maybe your girl was receptive rather than gravid. Lily would wander and try to get out by digging in the corners of her cage when she was receptive.

One good sign is that THERE ARE EGGS IN THE EGG LAYING BIN. Just check instead of having us guess :p

Their belly size can get dramatically smaller, did you notice?

Ju st checked No Eggs but yet she seems fine still seems a little fat a cannot feel anything

Just a quick update today while I was at school, Daisy had been busy digging but she hasn't laid any eggs yet.

Thanks,

Minor spelling mistake, called daisy a he yet she is a she.
