Nice photos Danny! Your little Meller's growing. It have been beautiful here. I've been able to take the chams out everyday and they are loving it.

Edit: Thanks Jann and Okiroo! i need to get some full body shots of the melleri. The hummingbird seems to like it up there since she can get a full view of her "realm".

I am from Illinois and I know what a "real" winter feels like! Yes, we are fortunate and are not trying to punish you....well maybe a little bit!

We have a feeder for the hummingbirds here and enjoy watching them from May to September/October-ish. They perch often and like to sit in the trees facing the feeder...with that said, they don't sit still long and will zoom off in no time. They will also perch on the feeder when eating if they feel comfortable enough.

More importantly, I am heading to Florida for the next week to enjoy the warm weather myself!
